Privacy Policy

The data controller is AcquiringOS LTD, Paphos, Cyprus. If you have any question about this policy or about how your personal data is handled, write to us at partners@acquiringos.com.

We collect only the information you submit through the design partner form on this website: your name, your work email address, your company name and company website, your indicated monthly card volume, and — if you choose to provide it — the name of your current acquirer. We also record the moment you gave your consent, so that we can demonstrate it later.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card data, cardholder data or any special category of personal data.

We use this information for one purpose only: to contact you about the AcquiringOS design partner program and to assess whether your business is a fit for it. We do not use it for unrelated marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.

Our legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the design partner form, under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with the service providers that make this website and our correspondence work — our website and database hosting provider, and our email delivery provider — and only to the extent needed to deliver those services. These providers process the data on our instructions and under contract.

We keep your submission until you withdraw your consent, or until the design partner program concludes and there is no longer a reason to hold it — whichever comes first. After that, we delete it from our systems and ask our processors to do the same.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
• have your data deleted (erasure);
• restrict how we process your data;
• receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another controller (portability);
• object to our processing of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email partners@acquiringos.com. We will respond within one month.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing partners@acquiringos.com with the word “withdraw” and the email address you used. Withdrawal is free and takes effect as soon as we process it; we will then stop contacting you and delete your submission. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

If you believe we have handled your personal data improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus, the supervisory authority for our jurisdiction. You may also complain to the supervisory authority in the EU or EEA country where you live or work.

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes affecting people who already submitted the form will be communicated by email.
